It is my honor to serve as Chair of the NCBA Real Property Section Council for the 2024-2025 year. My name is David Martin, and I am an attorney with Murchison, Taylor & Gibson, PLLC in Wilmington. Prior to moving to my hometown of Wilmington in 2004 with my family, I practiced law in Raleigh. I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina (undergraduate) and Campbell (law school).

Vice Chair Peter Moeller (Moeller, PA in New Bern), Secretary / Treasurer David Neill (Fox Rothschild in Raleigh), Immediate Past Chair Matt Waters (Jordan Price in Raleigh) and I welcome the opportunity to serve the needs of our section, its members and the real property bar as a whole. We would like to hear from you with any requests, needs or questions related to your practice and the real property practice in North Carolina.

We also strongly encourage you to reach out to us if you are interested in serving on the Council or one of its committees. Again, we appreciate the opportunity to serve the section and its members.
