Leveraging LinkedIn – Recorded Event (November 11, 2021)

This event was inspired by our 2021-22 law student reps and offered a variety of strategic approaches to use LinkedIn for building connections and creating a professional presence that stands out. According to the ABA Tech Report for 2020, 76% of law firms and 88% of individual lawyers are on LinkedIn. You certainly want to put your best foot forward on your LinkedIn profile and we will show you some tips to do just that. But that is just the beginning! Start by building connections. A Guide for Managing Stress for Legal Professionals: Directed Meditation Session – Recorded Event (November 16, 2021)

The NCBA YLD Bar Exam Committee held a directed meditation session by Roy Wyman. During this event, students and young lawyers had the opportunity to participate in a meditation session directed by an attorney, as well as learn tips and tricks on how to manage stress in the legal profession. Lawyers play a unique role in the nonprofit and public interest space, and young attorneys and law students had an opportunity to learn from our experienced panelists about the challenges and benefits of their work – whether that be as a volunteer, board member, in-house counsel, executive, or private practitioner.
