Robinson Bradshaw Announces Four New Shareholders

New Robinson Bradshaw shareholder Mark Hiller‘s litigation practice includes representing and advising clients on significant matters involving class actions, business and contract disputes, trade secret disputes, bankruptcy-related litigation, cybersecurity and the False Claims Act, among other areas.  Hiller earned his law degree from the University of Virginia and his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Harvard College.

Novant Health has selected Frank E. Emory Jr., to serve as executive vice president and chief legal officer. Emory was previously a partner with Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, where he served as co-head of the litigation and labor group and managing partner of the Charlotte office. He is chairman of the board of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, and a recipient of the North Carolina Bar Association’s 2010 Citizen Lawyer of the Year award.

Alesha Brown has joined Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP as an associate based in its Charlotte office where she will practice civil litigation. She previously practiced insurance defense at a firm in New York City and served as counsel to the New York City Council’s Committees on Civil Rights and Contracts.  Brown grew up in Charleston, S.C. and received her law degree from New York Law School and her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina where she graduated magna cum laude.
